Arthur's dream is to appear as Titania in 'Midsummer Night's Dream' with George as Bottom although Sidney's not too keen on appearing as Mustardseed.

'Who are you calling a fairy?' he says!

Goosey, Goosey, Gander

For the new challenge at Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog 

For my nephew and his wife on their 5th wedding anniversary.

The decoupaged geese come from Joanna Sheen's 'Eastern Treasures' CDRom as does the main backing paper with the vertical column of geese. I made the other two papers using PSP. The embellishment is a white Chinese tassel and two Chinese coins.

I do make real cards sometimes!

No jokes this week! This lovely image is from a little Carte de Visite that I bought recently and I thought it was perfect for the challenge. I'm presuming the children are both girls although in the days when this photo was taken little boys were often dressed in what we now would consider to be girl's dresses so the smaller child could be a boy?

A newly discovered Work of Art

For the Three Muses Challenge

A newly discovered work by the famous French painter Nicolas Poussin (1594 - 1665) this shows Lady Henrietta Wyandotte and her daughter Gallina of Orpington House. Gallina was later to marry into the famous Leghorn family.
