Flower Girl

This is for the new challenge at Bee Crafty. Do go and check it out!

I coloured the image in PSP. The paper is from K & Co and the embellishments are all from my stash.

Daisy & her Dog

This is for the challenge at Friday Sketchers.

I used a digital stamp from Cute Daisy May for the image coloured with Copic Ciao markers, a flourish stamped using Archival Ink in 'Plum'and ribbon, butterfly, and gems from my stash.

3 ATCs

Made for a swap I take part in the recipients should have them today or tomorrow so I think it's alright to show them in public!

The theme was 'Free Choice' and this Sugar Nellie stamp by Leanne Ellis called 'Choose' seemed ideal.

They were simply stamped and coloured with Copic markers with a little glitter from some Spica pens.

Anyone for Tea

This is for the challenge at Think Monday Think ATC and the theme is 'Togetherness'.

I think these four little friends were having a great time together until they were interrupted by the photographer!

The image is from Fairy Davis  and I used PSP (again!) to create this ATC.

The 'Arch' Bishop

The challenge at Gothic Arches this week and next is an open theme.

I have chosen to use a play on words and make an 'Arch'bishop.

This is Thomas Cranmer who became the first Archbishop of Canterbury during the reign of Henry VIIIth and continued in the reign of Edward the VIth but was executed by the Roman Catholic Queen Mary as a traitor and became a protestant martyr because of this.

The background came from Art Freebies, the archbishop from Google, the combination was done in PSP, edged with a gold pen and the cross was from my stash.

Three Cats

For the challenge at Inchy by Inch.

I took the liberty of adding some ears, paws, and a tail to my inchies but the basis is still a 1" x 1" square!

Daisy May in brown and pink

For Challenge #6 at Cute Daisy May.

Linnie was kind enough to give me a sheet of her lovely images and I used one of them for this card. Daisy May was coloured with Copic Ciao markers and I used a backing paper by K & Co and brown and pink card, ribbon, and sentiment from my stash.

I'm not a great one for doing cute cards so the opportunity to use not-so-cute colours was a welcome one!

By Special Request

A variation on a theme to represent the fact that there is also a Paris in Texas! For a friend across the Atlantic (you know who you are!)

Bonjour

Another Paris concoction; this time it's for the challenge at Small World of Inchies and Twinchies.

I Love Paris

For the challenge at Theme Thursday.

Images from collagevisions and Lisa's Altered Art and a little bit of tampering with PSP.

A Cat in the Hand

This little virtual ATC is for the challenge at Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog.

I know there's only one hand in this and the challenge is 'Hands' but I hope it's acceptable!

Little Teddy goes to Paris

For the challenge at Art Creations Friday  . As Hermine says ' Another new challenge. I made this bear myself years ago and now it seems like fun to let it travel all over the world. Have fun!'

So I took her at her word and sent her little bear to Paris for a holiday; this was done entirely in PSP.

A Black and White Flourish

This was made for the challenge at InchybyInch.

I laid out 16 alternate black and white 1" squares and stamped the whole lot with one large flourish stamp using Versamark.

I then used white detail EP on the black squares and white detail EP on the black squares to bring out the image. Unfortunately as the black and white cards were not exactly the same thickness the Versamark didn't stamp as well as I would have liked so the images are not perfectly clear.

After the embossing I had the fun of trying to piece the jigsaw of squares back together to make the final image and that was the most difficult thing but I think I got it right!

My New Hat

An ATC for the challenge at ATC Wednesday.

Doesn't she look lovely in her new hat? It goes so well with her lacy dress!

A Miniature Hat Box

The challenge this week at Go Make Something is Hats.

I bought this tiny (2" in diameter) round box at the NEC last month and  decided to make a hat box with it.

I printed out a floral design on adhesive paper to cover the box, stamped an Anna Griffin hat on a piece of cream card which I cut out and attached to the lid with silicon glue to give a bit of dimension; and then embellished the base with some dark red polka dot ribbon from my stash and a small flower, with a pearl centre, which I tinted using the same ink I stamped with.

All I have to do now is find a hat small enough to fit in it!
