A rather strange Tea Party for the challenge at Sunday Postcard Art and that at Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog .
This was done entirely digitally using one of Arthur Rackham's wonderful images rather than the Tenniel ones that everyone knows but I did add Tenniel's White Rabbit as a sort of ghostly image and a reminder of the earlier illustrator.
Boah wow this is EXCELLENT !!!
ReplyDeleteLove this card.

ReplyDeleteIt's a very different scene isn't it? But intereting. BTW, Mabel Lucie Attwell is EXACTLY in my time scale, Ali, as I was born in the middle of her life and had MANY annuals of her stories!! I must be MUCH older than you!!!

I really like this one Ali, it has a slightly 'supernatural' quality to it, very victorian and gothic (quite my thing actually!) and totally unique, just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card.
