Always in My Thoughts

For this week's Art Creations Friday challenge

ACF gave us the image of this beautiful girl. I thought she looked as if she was thinking of something sad so I gave her a fiancé fighting in the First World War to be thinking of and worrying about. And, of course, he will be thinking of her too.
Credits to Laurie Bavin & Kim Liddiard from www.digitalscrapbookplace.com for their Keys to the Past Page Kit  for various elements and background and to Google for the soldier.

  14. Oh, Ali...I was so sad thinking about this myself...what an awesome and very thought provoking presentation for this theme. I guess there were so many that went through this 'watching the time pass" as they awaited their loved ones to return. I know my paternal grandmother went through that waiting for her older brother to return from WWI, but sadly he did not. She always spoke of him tho and kept his large glass framed picture on her dining room wall so we would all know of him. Hugs, Gayle.
