Jewelled House

I made this little house for the challenge at Dans ma maison il y a .

I bought these little Indian gem embellishments over a year ago at the NEC Hobbycraft Fair and they inspired me to make the house look as it does.

The stamps used come from a set by Elusive Images 'Filigree Fusion' and the smaller one seemed the ideal shape for a rather exotic roof for my house. It was stamped in Versafine 'Vintage Sepia' and 'Satin Red' was used for the body of the house with the paisley backing stamp from the same set.

Some German Scrap borders, an edging with gold PenTouch, highlights using a gold Sakura Metallic gel pen, some fancy ribbon from my stash and the two jewels finish it off.

High Chair

This is my first attempt at  a challenge for Sunday Postcard Art.

The child on a chair image came from The Graphics Fairy and the backing was an image from the internet which, with the help of PSP I turned into a negative and then made it sepia. Peel off letters make up the phrase 'HIGH CHAIR' and I added some German Scrap borders and a stamped tassel to complete the picture.
