Style is .....

For the challenge at Rainbow Lady's Challenge blog and that at Colour Create.

Lady and Eiffel Tower stamps by Clarity Stamps and 'Style is eternal' stamp by Hero Arts. I used Nick Bantock Inks in 'Lamp Black' for the lady and script and 'Charcoal Grey' for the Eiffel Tower. The colouring was done with Promarkers.

You need hands?

This card is for two challenges -- TGIF and My Time To Craft.

The stamps used are, for the central image 'Vintage Button Collage' by Hero Arts, for the frame round the image, the sentiment, and the watch face, from  a U-Mount set called 'Time' and, for the flourishes a selection of foam stamps by 'La Blanche' and an unmarked clear set. All were stamped using Versafine 'Vintage Sepia'.

I think I went a bit mad with the flourishes but it was fun -- and now I've started stamping there's no stopping me!

Excuse me!

Today's card is for two challenges -- The first is the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - to use 1 image,2 papers and 3 embellishments, and the second is the One Stop Craft Challenge - use a charm on your card.

The image is a stamp from 'Stamps Away' called 'Cat on Dress' stamped with Archival Ink in 'Coffee' and the girl's dress is coloured with a Copic Ciao marker - I've only just got a set of these so I'm learning what can be done with them as I go along!

The two papers are by K & Co and the embellishments are two little flowers by Hero Arts and a heart from my stash.

I also took delivery of a 'Purple Cows' trimmer today - hence all the wavy edges. Well, I had to try it out didn't I?

Gracious Lady

This is my entry for Rainbow Lady's Challenge this week.

For a change it's an ATC. Everyone who knows me knows that I'm not the most fashionable of people but I do love things to do with fashion. I've had the Hero Arts 'Gracious Lady' stamp for a while now but have never used it before.

For this ATC I did what I think is called 'Paper Piecing' in that I stamped the image several times on different coloured card and cut separate elements of it out to create the final picture. The only colouring I did was on her face where I gave her a slightly rosy glow.

I attached the finished picture to an ATC sized piece of amethyst card and embellished it with some gem stickers from my stash.
