Patchwork Bookmark

For two challenges this time - Awfully Big Art Adventure and Daring Cardmakers --alright I know it's not a card but hopefully it'll do!

I started with a piece of cardboard cut from a piece used to stiffen an envelope and covered it with little squares of adhesive inkjet cotton which I had printed with various patterns. The letters 'BOOK' from a set by Dimension Fourth were stamped onto white card and embossed with Versamark and black detail EP and coloured in with Sakura Gel pens. I then added a white eyelet, and a pale blue tassel from my stash (it should have been red but I couldn't find the right colour!).

Dreamer

For the challenge at TGIF.

Backing paper and dragonfly from my stash, images and sentiments from Lisa's Altered Art, flourish stamp make unknown stamped with Brilliance 'Victorian Violet'.

I'm afraid I just deleted 8 lovely comments about this by mistake! So don't be upset if you left a comment and it's disappeared but please feel free to leave another if you like.

Fairy Cake

This is for the challenge at Cute Card Thursday 'Food & Drink'.

It's a skinny - backing paper from Crafty Individuals and image and sentiments from Lisa's Altered Art . No stamping on this one just a little distressing with Versafine 'Majestic Blue'.

Cat at the Window

This ATC is for the challenge set by Rainbow Lady which is a recipe and there were a lot of ingredients to fit into a small space!

One White Card

One Rubber Stamp

A Handmade Flower or Two

Some Ribbon

A Couple of Corner Peel-offs or Peel-off Strips

And a colour scheme of Red, Blue and Silver.

I think I managed it all - the base is White linen effect card, the Stamp is a mini by PaperArtsy and I stamped it with 'Blazing Red' Stazon on Silver mirror card.  The cat is Red as is his Ribbon bow and the Handmade Flowers are Red and Blue with a Red brad and 3 little Blue pearls and there are 2 strips of Blue Peel-offs to finish it off.

Eggs

This skinny (3" x 5") is for the challenges at Wednesday Stamper and Theme Thursday.

The background paper is by Crafty Individuals from 'Book 3' Springtime and the images are from collagevisions. The edges were distressed with Versafine 'Majestic Blue' and the same ink was used for the flourish stamp make unknown.

Whiskers

The same tiny Magenta stamp 'Whiskers the cat' makes up this set of 8 twinchies (2" x2") all stamped on different coloured card in different inks including one of the new Adirondack Lights in 'Cloudy Blue' as well as Versamark.

They are for the challenge at Sunday Stampers and I think I'll probably combine them all as one card topper eventually.

Audrey

I'm afraid this ATC only exists on my computer and not in the flesh as it was made entirely in PSP with images from Google .

It is for the challenge at Think Monday,Think ATC.

Four little cuties

These are inchies (1" x 1") and the biggest problem I had was finding embellishments small enough!

They are for the challenge at Small World of Inchies & Twinchies and I must admit I prefer doing twinchies (2" x 2") so this was a real challenge. I don't think there's much I can say about them; the kewpie doll images were the result of a Google search, the backgrounds are from PSP, the wording is computer generated and the embellishments are from my stash.

Little Boy Brown

For the challenge at Colour Create. I didn't think that lace and pearls went with this boy and they weren't compulsory either so I didn't use them.

At the moment he's only a topper but I think he'll make a lovely card soon.

Backing paper by K & Co and images from digital downloads from Paper Whimsy, Digital Collage Sheets, and Collage Visions.

Ink Box

My first attempt at altering anything is this box for the challenges at Awfully Big Art Adventure and Lots To Do

I bought the box at Paperchase with very little idea as to what I was going to do with it but having realised that it was the perfect size for my Tim Holtz Alcohol inks -- what better to use to decorate it than the inks themselves; and then, of course, I had to get a picture or two of the man himself in there somewhere!

So that's it really -- alcohol inks, a few gems and peel-offs and a little charm all from my stash are what makes it what it is.

Someone asked the size of the box -- it is about the size of a shoe box.

Secrets

This granny is for the challenge at Art Creations Friday.

Entirely working with PSP I've cheered her up a bit, added some wording and a fancy frame.

Bella Donna

Another Da Vinci image from Dover Publications for this birthday card which is my entry into the challenge at The Pink Elephant.

I think she is beautiful and I tried to give her beautiful surroundings.

Da Vinci People

This set of ATCs is for Rainbow Lady's Challenge this week which is 'People'.

These are all from one Da Vinci drawing and I've divided them up to make these so that you can see them in their full glory (or horror for some of them!).

If there are any other challenges they fit I'll add them later.
