The 'Arch' Bishop

The challenge at Gothic Arches this week and next is an open theme.

I have chosen to use a play on words and make an 'Arch'bishop.

This is Thomas Cranmer who became the first Archbishop of Canterbury during the reign of Henry VIIIth and continued in the reign of Edward the VIth but was executed by the Roman Catholic Queen Mary as a traitor and became a protestant martyr because of this.

The background came from Art Freebies, the archbishop from Google, the combination was done in PSP, edged with a gold pen and the cross was from my stash.
