And now for something really silly!

This is my entry for the challenge at Awfully Big Art Adventure and is entitled 'Rock Star'.

Having spent ages in the garden trying to find a rock that wasn't the size of a small house and making a complete mess of the first one I found I decided to go for simplicity and just doodled some stars with Sakura metallic pens.

It's hardly a work of art but it was fun.

  1. Having FUN is actually the whole point Ali! Love the "rock star" title ... and thanks for taking part.

  2. What a fun piece. Perhaps you could glazeit and make a load more for a really unusual rockery.

  4. Hi Ali,

I love it. It made me laugh and feel happy!!! Just what I needed after our National Day of Mourning yesterday to remember all the loss in our recent bush fires. Thanks.

  5. Oh I love it! Do you remember the days of "pet rocks?" I love that this one has a superstar personality! Fabulous - really made me smile!!!

  6. Funny play on words, know what I mean, know what I mean? Looks like something a Go-Goer would have made. Know what I mean, know what I mean?

It's cute. i just thought maybe you were a Monty Python fan like me, with the title of your blog. If not, nevermind.

    Have an excellent day then!

  7. Thanks for making me smile Ali....'Rock Star' - brilliant! You could go crazy with the Sakuras and doodle swirls in between the stars.
    Love Linda :-)

  8. What fun, I love the way you think, I would have gone for an image of Mick Jagger!

  9. Its lovely, those metallic pens ae fab, I love the pink one you have used, and the fact that its a rock star ! Well done , Jaqi

Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog. I do appreciate your comments (usually!)
