Memories



I made this card for the very first 'Colour Create' Challenge which was to use Pink,Green and Brown for a card with an optional butterfly.

I thought I'd go vintage for this one as I'd just downloaded this lovely lady from Art Freebies and she seemed to fit the challenge perfectly with her hat with a pink ribbon and the green of the rose leaves.

I imported the picture into PSP to create the oval framing then matted and layered on to brown card and backing paper created in PSP from the original picture, both cut with a wavy cutter. The base card is green to match the rose leaves and the final embellishments are two pink ribbons from my stash to go with the hatband  and a little butterfly charm also from my stash.
